Computer Games Development Festival in Poznan - „Polish-Swiss Game Jam on Sustainability”

This year, the Swiss embassy in Poland is celebrating its 100th anniversary (#razem100). To inaugurate this occasion in an innovative and youthful way, the embassy is inviting all Swiss game developers to take part in the Game Industry Conference (GIC) in Poznań. Before the conference begins, Polish and Swiss professionals will meet at the Game Jam to create new video games from scratch in groups. The #SwissGames delegation is supported by the Swiss Foundation for Culture Pro Helvetia.

The event is aimed at game developers, regardless of the age and the advancement level. The task will be to create a game about a given topic in 48 hours. The main theme of Game Jamu games focuses on important issues, such as the natural environment and sustainable development. This will give participants the opportunity to comment on a topic that is extremely topical and affects all of us in their works. The organizers of the event are Game Industry Conference and Grupa MTP, and the whole event takes place thanks to Pro Helvetia, Logitech and the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport.

Game Jam promotes the joy of creation, creativity and teamwork. The spirit of friendly competition will also be supported - the teams with the most interesting projects will receive prizes! These will come from Swiss sponsors. Did you know Logitech is a Swiss brand? Each Game Jam participant will receive a gadget from Logitech, as well as a gift backpack from the watch manufacturer Tissot, which has also prepared up to five attractive "TISSOT Chrono XL" watches for the winning team.
